You just keep surprising me with more music, REALLY great music with truly beautiful guitar work and simply marvelous harmonies. Love the Newest additions, as well as the revamping of the web site. Please make the treck to the East Coast and stop in. It has been too long since we saw you... in the meantime, the music is the next best thing to really being there! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ John's comments Thank you so much Pam! I miss all you east coast types too! JM.

I just heard your version of "I'm One" from Quadrophenia. That's so good I feel like smashing my guitar! Kevin Burton Smith Butlers Coffee Music Guy "Good honest coffee, good honest music." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- John's comments Thank you so much Kevin! Please don't give in to the urge to smash your guitar. It's kind of like "the opposite of getting a shot from the doctor." It feels great for second, but it hurts for a long time afterward. I look forward to seeing you when I perform at Butlers Coffee on August 1st. JM.

Dear John, Martin and I want to thank you for the fabulous time we shared with our friends and neighbors at our home concert this Spring. Everyone is still talking about it and cannot wait to do the same thing again. It was easy to host. Most of all, it gave all of us a memory that we will treasure forever. You have a wonderful way of uniting your audience to feel, clap, and join in with you. We love your passion, John! I was singing your songs for days on end and promised myself that this will be the first of many concerts to come. Love, Martin and Bea Laufer – Sylmar, CA.

“House Concerts” starring John M. is one of my favorite films. A documentary film crew follows John and his girlfriend Penni as they travel across the country, with John performing at house concerts on the tour. The film is a very informative and honest presentation of the joys and pitfalls of traveling, performing, and interacting with fans and other musicians along the way. There is great music throughout the film, performed by John M., Kat Eggleston, Shake Russell and Dana Cooper, and many others. John M.’s original songs are very thoughtful, sincere, and heartfelt, and left me humming them for days after watching the film. This film is a must-see for all singer-songwriters and for fans of original music. I hope that the movie will inspire more fans to become house concert hosts. Kathy Nichols Bassist for My Brave Love ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- John M's comments: Thank you for these comments, Kathy! Compliments on both the film AND my songwriting in one document is a rare treat! Much appreciated! JM.
